Hello, I hope this finds you and your family well. My name is Mitzi & I come from a large family and was lucky to be an Auntie at the age of 6 years old...I'm 47 wnow but very much a big kid at heart.
I provide a live-out Nanny service to a family in need of my mature skills. I'm in much demand for my babysitting skills and currently have three families that I do occasional work for a needed basis.
I absolutely love children, the characters that they all have and often learn from them as well...humour plays a huge part in my very positive life. Taking them to the park, getting out in the fresh air to socialize them with other kids is a regular thing. Not only does it do good for the little ones but the fresh air does me good too...I'm very social as well.
I'm told that I'm a really caring, patient person, for me it's all about putting myself in the other persons shoes, big or small. How would they feel? Understanding each other is a key part of communication...even if they can't speak, as of yet.
I provide circle time for reading, singing and lots of their hugs lol. I love to colour, paint and play games. I believe in keeping them busy, teaching them about life, books, nature and answering all the "Why?" questions with a positive attitude.
I follow the Candian Food Guide and tend to keep sugar to a minimum. I'm eco-friendly and allergy aware and respect the family guidelines. I have my first aid training as well.
My experience started as a babysitter when I was a teenager and continued as I worked in a daycare facility of recent, had children in my home and in the child's home in the past.
