Hello!
I have over 15 years of experience working with children beginning as a nanny to two boys and then going on to teach summer school, tutor in French and worked in a before and after daycare facility all while obtaining my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology. Afterwards I completed a graduate program on working with youth with honours.
In my full time work I have worked at a Community Centre with Children and Youth, coordinating programs and staff. There were some days where we could have over 100 kids at once, so I am excellent at multi-tasking.
I am a 200 hour certified yoga instructor and live a very healthy lifestyle. I take great joy in cooking and baking and enjoy cooking nutritious flavourful meals.
I believe that each child deserves lots of love and attention which then helps build self confidence and aids in development. Throughout my previous work experience I have always enjoyed coming up with new crafts and fun activities to do that also help with socialization and develop learning processes.
My son is currently 10 1/2 months old and am interested in a position where I can be with my son during the day and also provide socialization for him with other children.
In searching for daycares myself I was not able to find any spots that fit all of my needs and then thought perhaps I can still provide that not only for my son but for someone else's precious child.
