I have worked in the childcare industry F/T for 5 years now and am currently working for two families (as a nanny share). One of the families, however, will be moving to LA in the next few months and we would like to find another family to fill the spot. The child that I will continue to take care of is a 2 year old girl (24 months) and we think it would be best to have another child in about the same age range so they can be little play buddies.
Our current setup is alternating from each family's home on a week by week basis, and would like if the new arrangement could continue in this manner, though it is all negotiable.
Our current schedule is Monday-Thursday, 9:00am-5:00pm. (Sometimes alternates to Tuesday-Friday on weeks that include a holiday) Am always open to work extra hours/evenings for an additional wage.
Throughout the week we participate in many activities, including art class (http://www.4catsart.com/), music class, dance class, crafts, lots of reading, and many field trips (eg. Vancouver Children's Library, Science World, Vancouver Aquarium, Kits Community Centre play gym, parks, beaches, nature walks, etc.)
