I am having one heck of a time finding a Nanny job, so I wanted to give you specific things I have done:
*Been a Live-out Nanny for over 12 years
*Been involved with Moppet Parent Participating Preschool for 3 years
*Have experience with children with special needs
*Volunteer hsitory includes: elementary schools, Waterloo Region Down syndrome Society, childrens groups at church, Children's Wish Foundation
*Freelance Writer who writes articles on topics pertaining to children for various magazines
*Always looking for workshops to attend to keep up my education on child related topics
*I am a 5 1/2 year Kid's Hop Attendee
*Implement sign language in our daily routine
*Activities with my charges: Library Programs, playgorups, park, Kid's Hop,
*My favourite charity to support: KidsAbility
*I DO NOT DRIVE....but I walk or bus to all of our activities. KIDS LOVE TAKING THE BUS! Therefore, REGULAR AND EASY ACCESS TO THE BUS IS A MUST.
