What We Do : Hire a Happy Nanny has created a unique creative model for exceptional, affordable childcare -- as a first step towards achieving a long term, large scale solution to the Ontario childcare crisis.
Why We're Different : The Modern Governess Co-Op Project is inspired by nanny-sharing, creative education, co-op principles and child-centered parenting. We're part governess-share, part alternative pre-school - all play-based learning and discovery, based on the wide, wonderful world. While all children of pre-k age are welcome, the program is specialized to help create safe, loving, stimulating and attentive childcare spaces for children ages 6 months - 24 months - including significant lowered fee incentives to reward and encourage parents who work together for the overall success of the program.
Benefits : We hire our nannies as employees, provide a great salary, benefits and insurance - parents get top-notch, bright-star educators who plan play-based curriculum as effortlessly as they heat up a bottle of breast milk while making fabulous fishy faces.
Why We Do it : We believe that all children deserve love, patience and exceptional care. We believe in the importance of teaching communities to value their caregivers - and in the value of building a community of passionate educators as childcare providers. We are invested in working towards a co-operative plan which allows families to afford the quality of care their children need - while providing a respectful, happy work environment for educated childcare providers.
