DESCRIPTION:
Colorful World Montessori is a full day Junior Kindergarten. Our program offers a well rounded balance of education, fine arts and athletics for children ages 1 through 5.
The long established way of the Montessori Method is to support children with an enriched and challenging curriculum focusing on traditional values and providing them with a solid foundation in academics.
Here at Colorful World we believe in an educational environment where our goal is to enhance our children's knowledge and natural abilities by providing them with the experience to gain great success in the future.
MONTESSORI CURRICULUM:
Developed by Dr. Maria Montessori, the Montessori method teaches traditional, academic subjects. It is a revolutionary method of observing and supporting the natural development of children. Montessori educational practice helps children develop creativity, problem solving, critical thinking and time-management skills, to contribute to society and the environment.
FINE ARTS / EXTRA CURRICULAR PROGRAM:
The Fine Arts and Extra Curricular component of the school program at Colorful World Montessori is scheduled in the afternoon and children always look forward to this part of the day. The on-site programs are convenient for the parents and saves them time driving from one place to another. Children are able to experience the full benefits of having qualified instructors come and teach them. During the year, parents will be invited to observe the classes and also attend a year end recital.
Music: Led by our skilled educators, our program will enhance your child’s development and instill a lifelong love of music.
Visual Arts: Children allow themselves to express their creativity and imagination through art.
Language: Learning a second language is an important aspect of your child’s education.
Dance: Children will learn basic dance skills to be able to perform individually or as a group. Parents will be invited to attend a year end recital.
Martial Arts: In this program the children will learn respect, self-discipline and self-defense. Parents will be invited to observe the classes.
Gymnastics: The basic movements help children develop their physical and motor skillls.
Computers: Introduce children to today’s advanced technology using interactive programs.
Science: Fun and interesting hands-on experiments designed to teach the basic scientific concepts.
LUNCH PROGRAM:
The school provides the children with a daily hot lunch program and snacks prepared by our on-site chef.
TUITION & FEES:
Application process: $100/child
Due to the center’s unique and diverse program we ask that you contact the school.
We will arrange for a tour of the facility and design a schedule that will suit you and your child’s best interests.
