At KAteri Kids we provide a warm, nurturing, quality environment that challenges each child to develop to his/her own potential, while respecting the child's uniqueness as an individual.
Kateri Kids is a community based non-profit organization operated by a parent Board of Directors. Kateri Kids holds a purchase of seervice agreement with Metro Children's Services to accommodate subsidized families. Our license for 61 children includes 31 pre-school and 30 school-age.
All staff are RECE or are in the midst of receiving their diploma.
The staff value diversity, celebrate multiculturalism and honour
allergy needs. Our centre is nut-free. Our caterer will make substitutions for allergies and religious requests.
Our centre is located in a wonderful community that offers the daycare library visits, splash park and a pool in the summer, park with a playground as well as our own playground. We have a variety of trips in the summer and visitors come to the centre to do workshops. We are open to new ideas for trips.
Admission conditions
Parents are encouraged to bring their children to the centre prior to registration. Any children who have a life-threatening allergy must bring all the required medical information signed by a doctor prior to the child's starting date. This enables us to contact our catering company to be sure that all food needs are
taken care of before the child starts and all medications will be
on site ahead of the child.
