These areas are developed in stages as the child learns and grows with the program. Eventually the child is prepared to accept changes in his/her environment with greater ease, such as entering into a larger school environment; for example, kindergarten.

To empower the children so they gain a sense of belonging, ownership and pride in their center, and to build a trusting and lasting relationship between the children and the staff.
