Quality First
Peace of Mind Montessori School participates in a program called Quality First. Quality First is an initiative providing all licensed child care programs in the Halton with the opportunity to participate in a developmental model for quality improvement. The mission statement is to facilitate positive, meaningful and sustained change in the design and delivery of quality child care and learning in the Halton child care community.
Staff participate in workshops, program evaluations and self-reflection, in order to improve and maintain the highest standards of child care as laid out by the research available.
Admission conditions
Peace of Mind Montessori School is very flexible with the integration process of your child. On the first day your child attends the daycare, parents are encouraged to stay for a short period of time. As the staff helps the child with the transition, we suggest that the parents leave with a simple “Good-bye”. We also suggest that you try to pick up your child early for the first few days. Parents should feel free to call during the day to see how their child is doing.
