Happy Hours Preschool is a play-based preschool in the heart of historic Fort Langley.
At Happy Hours Preschool we help develop and nurture values that will prepare your child for their kindergarten experience - socially, physically, emotionally and intellectually.
We are a non-profit preschool, founded and maintained by parents. Our fully licensed teacher develops our curriculum, and runs each class with the assistance of parents. This keeps our program affordable through parent-participation and allows parents to be more actively involved in their child’s education
We are proud of our unique culture and philosophy at Happy Hours, and our play based curriculum. An excellent adult-to-child ratio, manageable class sizes and fully qualified ECE teacher helps ensure your child gets a first class teaching experience.
Admission conditions
At a parent participation preschool such as Happy Hours Preschool, the parents get to be involved in the business of running the preschool.
Parent participation lets you play an active role in your child's education during perhaps the most critical time of their development.
For example, each parent participates in monthly parent education sessions and in duty days once or twice a month.
For the children, this means they get to have mommy or daddy at school to help Teacher. For parents, this helps them develop their parenting skills; and, for the school, this helps reduce running costs (keeping fees for all parents lower) while maintaining a very high adult-to-child ratio.
Always ensure that your child receives quality care by taking the time to investigate the provider and by asking for references! We simply cannot verify the claims of every daycare provider.
