About the Centre:
Bluebird Children's Centre is a small group Infant/Toddler centre in the Yennadon neighbourhood (North East) of Maple Ridge. I run the child care program out of my home and am licensed for a maximum of 4 children under 36 months.
It is a play-based centre which means children are involved in many different kinds of activities designed to help young
learners explore, discover and grow. My program is not-theme based, but
rather based on an “emergent curriculum”. I will be paying close attention to what the children’s interests are and planning our art, circle time and other activities based on what I observe.
Philosophy:
I believe that young children learn best through play based activities. I believe in providing a positive, happy, safe environment where the children feel comfortable trying new experiences and where respect for self and others is
nurtured. I believe that children reach their developmental milestones at a range of ages and learn in different ways and I will do my best to foster their learning. I appreciate and celebrate each child’s uniqueness

Admission conditions
Deposit of one month's fees is required to hold a daycare space. This will be applied to the last month's fees, upon proper notice of withdrawal.
Always ensure that your child receives quality care by taking the time to investigate the provider and by asking for references! We simply cannot verify the claims of every daycare provider.
Updates
We expect providers to keep their listing and available openings up-to-date. However, to prevent oversights, openings expire after 45 days.
