Seaview Childcare Centre is a division of the Seaview Pentecostal Assembly and has been in operation since October 1996. Seaview Childcare currently offers 3 programs: Toddlers - 18mo-30mo, Daycare - 30mo-5yrs and Before/After School Care - Kindergarten-12yrs.
Our goal as facilitators is to create a supportive "home away from home" atmosphere that provides children with a well balanced childcare program with opportunities for each child to develop to his/her maximum potential within a christian context.
Daycare/Toddler Program:
Our program philosophy is to ensure the development of the whole child - Social, Physical, Language, Intellectual, Cognitive and Emotional. This is done through our large emphasis on learning through play while ensuring the children have time for structured learning throughout the day. Circle time is done daily where children participate in Calendar, Weather, Colours, Numbers, Shapes, Phonics (Fun Family Phonics) and Weekly Themes. Colour and Shape of the month activities are done weekly as well as chapel and letter of the week. Art is done on a daily basis with the children using different mediums to allow for sensory development. You can often find Seaview children outside in our large outdoor area which accommodates all 3 programs. We also have access to a full sized kitchen where we are able to cook and bake with the children various times throughout the school year!
Before & After School Care:
Our Before and After School Care program currently services 4 local elementary schools - Star of the Sea, H.T Thrift, White Rock and Peace Arch. We have two school age classrooms: Kindergarten-GR.2 and GR.3-GR.7. The children take part in various activities planned by our School Age staff. Kindergarten to Grade 2 participate in daily reading activities, art as well as free play. Grade 3 to 7's participate in homework club, group activities, art, and free time. Children in our 3 to 7 program have access to laptops for homework use and leisure use. On Pro D-Days we enjoy taking the children on outings. |

Admission conditions |

All children must have a completed registration form filled out with the correct up to date information. A parent agreement contract must be read and signed by the Parent/Guardian. Immunization records are a must if your child is immunized. There is also a $30.00 registration fee that must be paid in order to process your registration information. Your first month's fees must be paid in full in order to hold your child's spot if the start day is more than 30 days away from the day of registration otherwise fees must be paid in full on your child's first day. |
