Due to shortages of space, presently we only offer Before and After School care. Children registered for the before school care are transported with the daycare buses from the Daycare centre to their school and those registered for the afternoon program are transported by the daycare busses from their school to the Daycare centre.
What makes us different from other daycares?: Instead of just providing supervision with some local playground time after school, Top Drawer offers field trips after school and on professional days to keep our children in an active lifestyle. These events include swimming, skating, rock climbing, gymnastics, cross-fit, local hikes, beaches, visits to various playgrounds and indoor play facilities as well as visits to educational institutions such as Science world, the Vancouver Planetarium, museums and aquariums. This saves most parents from having to take their children to swimming, skating, art, Lego and other lessons. Educational visits by the local emergency services such as the Police and Fire Department are also arranged from time to time. These visits come at no additional cost to the parents other than the entrance fees. During festive seasons we also hire professional entertainers such as Magicians, Clowns and Santa’s to entertain our children.
Our fees are $540 for after school care and $640 for before and after school. Daily rate is $42 per day for full day or $36 for afternoon care only. All fees are in Canadian $
Admission conditions
Presently we only run a before and after school care and thus only accept children from the ages of 5 to 12 years old. This will change in 2017 when we will offer fulltime daycare as well as pre-school services.
