Sidekicks Childcare Center is located in Coquitlam above Team One Martial Arts. Team One Martial Arts provides Sidekicks with a safe indoor play space for the children to utilize each day. There the children are offered an array of gross motor explorations and plenty of space to run and play. They also provide two free 30 minute Taekwondo lessons from an experienced black belt instructor.
At Sidekicks we believe children learn best through play. Our team members are all fully licensed Early Childhood Educators and each has their first aid training. We support, guide, and nurture children's learning in a safe and healthy environment.
Sidekicks greatly values children's individual learning interests, ideas, and opinions. Therefore, we develop curriculum based on the child's interest to peak their imagination and creativity. We provide both indoor and outdoor individual, small and large group explorations.
Sidekicks team members allow time for children to create, discover, manipulate and challenge their ideas using a wide range of materials while strengthening their critical thinking skills and build healthy social and emotional relationships with their families, peers, and educators.
