I am a Registered Early Childhood Educator with over 10 years experience in the Child Care Industry. I have put my teaching career with the Toronto District School Board on hold to pursue this dream of always opening my own home daycare.
My home is designed to provide a safe, warm, comfortable, nurturing environment where children can feel safe and confident while learning and exploring each day through play. Each child will receive individualized care in a home like environment by a Registered Early Childhood Educator. I have organized my home into different learning areas which include: arts and crafts, quiet reading, music and movement, dramatic and science. Children will be able to explore the different learning areas in a structured setting. I strongly believe developing minds require low child to teacher ratios in order to stretch and grow. I am different from a childcare centre because of the limited amount of children I care for. I believe that staying small I am able to provide children with the quality one on one care each child deserves.
