Parkwood Daycare is a licensed group daycare able to accomodate up to 25 children from the age of 30 months to 5 years. We are located one block west of 11th Avenue and Cumberland in Burnaby.
We believe children are entitled to environments and opportunities that foster positive growth while being treated with dignity and respect. Play is a child's response to life and the medium through which he/she learns, and we therefore employ this principle in our day-to-day activities.
Our daycare offers a large gated courtyard with an upper and lower area. The upper area has a full double slide playground, room for children to ride our bicycles/tricycles with room to be creative with sidewalk chalk or to play a game of basketball or hockey. The lower play area has a sandbox, picnic tables and a full playhouse large enough to hold 4-5 children.
Inside, we have an area for arts & crafts, reading, table top toys and puzzles, larger block toys, dress-up, wooden play kitchen, and individual water and sand tables.
Additional Services:
