VonKids Academy - Kindergarten Preparatory Program is located in the heart of Tuscany NW and Killarney in Calgary's SW. We accept 6 students per class in order to ensure one on one time is available for each child.
Our program has been written by veteran infant and elementary school teachers, and is derived directly from the Alberta Kindergarten Program of Studies. Our pedagogical approach incorporates elements of Montessori (discovery and exploration), Multiple Intelligence theory (delivery and demonstration) and traditional learning activities.
We teach year round with 4 terms each year (Winter, Spring, Summer, and Fall).
Our program builds self esteem and confidence by preparing them for their first year of school. Our early start academic approach also help parents gain valuable situational awareness of any potential learning challenges so that they can be addressed in a timely fashion.
