Discovery is a small group preschool program for children between the ages of 3-5 years. The center is open Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00a.m. to 12:00 p.m. We are located on Sullivan Place in North Delta.
Discovery is a play based program where children have the opportunity to explore a wide variety of materials and to create with those materials. Children learn and practice how to be in a social group through shared play experiences and group activities. Children are exposed to music, stories and dramatic play. Children engage in a variety of natural sciences indoors and out.
Discovery Preschool is managed and staffed by Kerry Stachniak, a licensed early childhood educator. She has been in the field for over 12 years working with infants, toddlers and preschoolers.
