Welcome to Child’s Paradise Day Care Centre.
Our goal is to provide a high quality, nurturing and safe learning environment for the children to develop physically, socially, emotionally and intellectually. The individuality of each child is respected and encouraged.
Child’s Paradise welcomes children between the ages of 12 months and 12 years of any race, color, nationality and ethnic origin. We value diversity.
We believe that children need to be aware of the world around them and how to take care of the environment at a young age.
In our activities, we reduce, reuse and recycle as much as possible. We appreciate the combined efforts of the parents in acquiring reusable art supplies (such as shoe boxes, Kleenex boxes, and paper rolls).
We focus on teaching the children how to respect themselves, and others, as well as the environment.
As a partner in your child’s care, we will do everything in our power to keep the lines of communication open between parents and staff. Our interaction with parents is as important as our interactions with the children. Parents are welcome to visit and/or participate in our Centre at any time. We have set up a bulletin board at the Main Entrance as well as within each of the Programs and will post information and resources we feel will be of interest to parents. Each child has their own cubby/place for their belongings at the entrance to their Program Rooms. Feel free to call at any time during the day or to set an appointment with us to visit the daycare centre and/or to register your child(ren) in one of our Programs.
Please take the time to look through our website (www.childsparadise.ca) and the Parent’s Handbook section to ensure you understand the policies that are in place to help keep the Centre a happy environment for everyone involved. If you have any questions at all, we will be happy to go over them with you.
Thank you for considering Child’s Paradise Day Care Centre.
Sincerely,
Marcinda Pinsent
