Our goal is to provide a developmental program in a safe and happy environment to meet the needs of those families and their children requiring child care. It is intended that our facility be a supplement to both family life and the development of the children.
We provide a supervised setting that will give children the opportunity to socialize with other children and adults. We provide families with a dependable program in which they have confidence that their child(ren)s needs are being met.
Renfrew Daycare has been owned and operated by the Town of Renfrew for 37 years. Our staff are long time employees of the centre and are committed to providing quality child care for all children. All our teachers have their Early Childhood Education Diploma as well as CPR and First Aid training. All our teachers have experience with special needs and behavioral issues.
Our program provides experiences for both indoor and outdoor play, quiet and active play and participation in individual and group activities. Daily routines and activities include music, circle, fine and gross motor activities, art and dramatic play. Equipment and toys are age appropriate, and designed to enhance skills at various stages of development. Toys and puzzles are based on weekly themes and are changed regularly. Weather permitting, the children play outdoors in the morning and afternoon. The large playground at the Renfrew daycare provides a healthy, happy and safe environment where children can learn and grow. Healthy snacks and meals are provided.
