With the Life Skills and Residential Support program, Solaris Autism aims to help adults and adolescents with Asperger’s or high-functioning autism to live independently, while providing the day-to-day support they need to manage the responsibilities of daily life.
· Life Skills Support—Support with life skills, planning and organizing, home skills and self-care, therapy, vocational training, and community living skills.
We offer Day Support services at our TMC facilities, or in-home visits on a pre-arranged schedule.
TMC Residences—TMC (Therapy and Managed Care) Residences provide assisted independent living units that are fully integrated into the larger community, with 24/7 support for daily living and self care. Ideal for those making the transition from family to independent living.
· Transition Planning Service—Individual and family consultation, planning and support for adults and adolescents preparing to leave the family home.
Admission conditions
All programs are customized. No specific conditions apply. We ensure an individual analysis is performed for each client and then match those challenges with the existing clients to maximize benefits and learning experiences.
