OPENING IN SEPTEMBER 2007
Introduction to the french language.
Educator is a BC Licensed ECCE with BA in linguistics and 10 years experience with the public school system.
Currently run a licensed family childcare but am changing over to a preschool this Sept.
Small classes of 8 children allow for many one to one learning opportunities, as well as it is less overwhelming for young children.
Play based philosophy.
Discovery play centres: housekeeping, library. science, creative arts (open centre and structured, teacher led), table toys (puzzles, beading...) blocks, trains, trucks etc... circle time: introduce french concept through stories( presented in a variety of mediums ie. felt board, books, magnets, puppets) calendar, singing, movement activities.
Classes will run Mon, Wed, Fri 9:30-12:00 AND 12:15-2:45
AND Tues, Thurs 9:30-12:00 AND 12:15-2:45
Next open house/registration to take place Sunday March 11 at 11:30-2:30.
First come first serve basis.
