Philosophy
Glenashton Daycare Centre strives to meet each child’s individual needs (social, emotional, physical and intellectual), while they play and learn in a loving and nurturing environment. It is a model centre of excellence in early care and education. Our program will be flexible to meet the needs, appropriate level and capabilities of each child. The area of development in which we will work to nurture are: intellectual, mental, physical, social-emotional and spiritual through age appropriate and interest driven programming.

At Glenashton Daycare Centre we provide quality care for children between the ages of two months to five years.
Program
Our staff strives to provide an enriched and stimulating environment for each child, in order for them to reach their full potential both academically and socially. Our well-prepared ECE teachers plan hands-on programing with lots of fun activities to stimulate young minds and develop an enthusiasm for learning. With both individual and group activities, children are exposed to art, music, math, physical education in a interactive environment that encourages creativity and developmental growth.
Infant Programming ( 2 to 18months)
Our infant program provides a warm loving and nurturing atmosphere to develop a sense of trust ,autonomy and motivate learning. Our hands on programing full of circle time music, pull/push equipment and variation of toys. Are available as infants grasp new ideas language, craw/walk and grow into independent little people.
Toddler Programming
We can help to foster early emotional, social and physical well being of every toddler who swings through our doors! We focus on fun, creative and interactive learning to help build the foundation for basic life skill development.
Preschool & Kindergarten Programming
Within our fun, activity centered atmosphere, children will develop, art, music, mathematic and physical education skills. Our certified ECE teachers will direct children in both independent and group activities
Summer Programming
Our Summer Safari Camp offers a wide variety of sports, arts and academic activities to ensure that your children never get tired of coming to camp each day. Our fun field trips (Science Centre, Twin Valley Zoo, Silly Miss Tilly etc) allows the children to engage in active learning and social interaction. |
