The A-Z Daycare Center opened its doors to the public in March 1987. It boasts a staff of certified Early Childhood Educators, many of whom have been on staff for 20+ years. The quality of care which we offer is painted on the faces of each and every child who attends our center.
The philosophy of the daycare is to provide a positive learning environment that enhances his/her level of development. Through play experiences and the guidance of specialty trained registered early childhood educators, your child will be exposed to situations that will stimulate: curiosity, initiative and independence self-esteem and positive decision making capabilities fine and gross motor development, interaction with and respect for others.
Our meals/snacks are prepared on site. We offer a nutritious lunch as well a morning and afternoon snack. The menus follow the "Canada Food Guide" and touch on all necessary food groups. Any special dietary, allergy related of religious requests are posted in the cooking area as well as all eating areas.
Weekly and bi-weekly menus are posted in the front entrance to assist all parents with menu planning at home. We will celebrate your child's birthday by providing a cake (prepared by the children) for them on their special day.
We currently have 12 spots available for children aged 2-5 years of age.
