Kidergetic Child Care Inc, is a new centre that opened in the Griesbach School in October 2009. We currently provide care to school age children from Kindergarten to Grade six (4.5 to 12 years) inside the Griesbach School.
We currently operate on the stage in the gym, however this is a temporary situation as there is a new school being built beside the old school. The new school will open September 2012 at which time we will be able to move into classrooms and possibly open a daycare as well.
We do accept children from other schools, however the family is responsible to provide the transportation. Please note: If your child's school closes on a different day than Griesbach, we will be unable to provide care for your child for the full day. We are closed from 12:30 to 3:30 Monday to Friday and 12:30 to 2:10 on Thursdays
We offer a variety of activities and run our program based on the Emergent Curriculum philosophy, where the teachers seek out what the children's interests are and use them as the basis for the centre's programming. The children are free to choose what they want to do, which is important after a long day at school.
We also have free use of the gym and equipment which enhances our ability to offer a variety of gross motor activities.

Our hours for Kindercare are as follows:
7:00 am to 12:30 pm;3:30 to 6:00 pm (2:10-6:00 on Thursdays)
Please note: As we are unable to provide care to children during school hours we are required to bring the kinders to Tammy's Private dayhome. Because of this, we are unable to offer subsidized care for kinders at this point in time.
Our hours for Grade One to Six are as follows:
7:00 to 8:40 am;3:30 to 6:00 pm (2:10-6:00 on Thursdays)
Subsidy is available for this age group.
Full days are offered during PD Days, Winter, Spring and Summer Breaks, however we are closed on all Stat holidays.

As we are a new centre and have not yet reached full enrollment we are offering emergency/drop-in care as well as part-time care. This is done on a case by case basis so please contact Tammy at 780 999 2457 for more details on such arrangements.
Admission conditions
Children must have attended their first day of Kindergarten before being allowed to attend the Kidergetic Program.
