Five Peas in a Pod Child Care has been awarded the silver medal for best daycare or child care service by the North York Mirror, 2014 Reader's Choice Awards. We have also been nominated for the best business/service award for 2015 also through the North York Mirror.
At Five Peas in a Pod Child Care, 2 RECE staff work with the group in addition to our highly qualified assistants, to offer a child care experience that will be certain to exceed everyones expectation of excellence. All staff have clear criminal reference check for working with the vulnernable sector. All Staff are trained in First Aid and CPR level C. We offer hot Catered lunch supplied by Choice Children's Catering. The children are also given nutritionally balanced, yet tasty morning and afternoon snacks. Lunches and snacks can be modified to suit allergies.
Five Peas in a Pod Child Care is a nut safe environment.
The full day preschool program runs from 7:30 am to 6 pm. This program offers a fun filled day including indoor and outdoor activities for children ages 2.5 years to 6 years. It is possible to share a full time space with another family, subject to availability.
This program will also feature Practical life, sensorial development, art, language, French, mathematics, music and movement and science and culture activities in addition to yoga and pilates. Children will enjoy an hour outside in both the morning and afternoon in our fully fenced in playground located adjacent to the centre, as well as an afternoon rest time.
Catered lunch, am and pm snack are included.
The program is designed to offer Kindergarten readiness for children in a fun and engaging manner, allowing for children to learn in a variety of ways.
It's official... our license has been revised to suit toddlers ages 18 months to 30 months. Programmed activities coupled with free play exploration will offer our toddlers loads of opportunities to explore their worlds both indoors and out. am and pm snack and catered lunch are offered. rest time after lunch.
