We have 1 PART-TIME vacancy (3 days/week - Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays) available for February 2012. The part-time fee of $754/month is based on a daily rate of $58. We are also accepting WAITLIST applications for future openings at this time.
This daycare is a licensed group daycare for up to 10 infants and toddlers ages 9 months through 3 years. The caregiver to child ratio is 4:1 or better! Because this is a SMALLER center than many others, we are able to offer UNIQUE STRENGTHS that larger centers may not be able to. We can be FLEXIBLE with the children (eg., let them eat or drink when they indicate to us that they are hungry [as opposed to having a "set" snack time]), we can afford to maintain a very relaxed environment, and we are able to respond to the child's needs at any given moment.
Our environment is bright, spacious, and clean! Your child will be provided with the familiar comforts of a home setting while working with and drawing upon the expertise of certified Early Childhood/ Infant Toddler Educators within a licensed setting. There is also a spacious outdoor play area available for your child. In addition, there are plenty of parks in the area which we visit on a daily basis with the children each morning.
Your child will be given countless opportunities each day to explore and challenge his or her capabilities in all areas of development. The areas of development to be focussed upon (both indoors and outdoors) will be physical, social, emotional, and intellectual.
We provide RESPONSIVE care, meaning that we take the time to observe each child and respond to his or her needs and individual interests. This is the basis from which we build and plan daily activities for the children. We spend a great deal of time providing literacy rich activities on a daily basis (eg., reading stories to the children, singing, doing puppet stories, and doing felt stories). Music also is a big daily hit with children (eg., movement, song, listening, dance, small instruments). |
