At Starlight Child Care Centre we strongly believe that it is through play that children learn best. We provide a play base centre environment with a wide range of materials and developmentally appropriate activities which allow children to discover, explore, make choices and create to their own interests. Through our daily group and individual activities each child develops emotionally, socially, and intellectually at their own rate, because each child is different and therefore grows and learns in their own unique way. We are helping children develop a deep love and respect for themselves, others, and their environment.One of our hopes as educators is to promote a love of learning in children, as we share our own passion for learning with them. We feel there are needs for compassionate, strong, and dedicated individuals who are excited about working with children. In our competitive society it is important for children to not only receive a solid education, but to work with someone who is aware and sensitive to their individual needs. We will always strive to be the best educators we can be.
