Grand Boulevard Parent Participation Preschool provides young children with an educational experience of the highest standard.
We provide children with opportunities to explore and challenge their capabilities in all four areas of development, physical, social, emotional and intellectual. Each child is challenged at his/her individual level of development at the same time as the needs of the whole group are being addressed. Experiential activities (i.e. learning through doing) are presented in a non-threatening, respectful and fun environment.
We are a Parent Participation Preschool which means that you have the opportunity to be involved in your child's first educational experience by way of assisting the teacher in the classroom, performing tasks to help run the school and participate in monthly parent education sessions.
Our school provides a bright and spacious classroom environment focussing on learning through play. We play outside everyday on our own playground equipment or, in inclement weather conditions, in our covered outdoor area with our outdoor toys.
Grand Boulevard Parent Participation Preschool (PPP) not only provides a strong educational base for your child, it provides you with a community for your family.
We have many families with two working parents that are easily able make the schedule of a PPP work for them and allow them to be involved in their child's education.
Admission conditions
We provide preschool classes two days a week for three year olds and three days a week for four year olds.
The 3 year old class runs Tues & Thurs mornings from 9:15 - 11:30am
The 4 year old class runs Mon, Wed & Fri mornings from 9:00 - 11:30am
Children must be 3 or 4 by December of the same year of admission to register in their class.
We have one teacher and enough parent teacher assistants in each class to maintain at least minimum ratios as per licensing. Often-times we have a great teacher/parent:child ratio than required.
