ABC Family Daycare has been in operation for 19 years. Prior to having a family daycare, I was a middle school teacher for 13 years. I am licensed for 7 children, a member of Child Care Resource and Referral Program and regularly attend related workshops. CPR and First Aid Certified and always kept up to date.
ABC Family Daycare philosophy is to provide quality care in a safe, healthy, happy home environment. We are here to enhance the social, physical, intellectual and emotional development of each child. We are conveniently located in central North Vancouver, one block above the Upper Levels Highway. We are on the garden level of a bright and sunny spacious home, dedicated to the daycare and a lovely covered outdoor area for the children to play in rain or shine.
Our Discipline Policy is as follows: Spanking, hitting, humiliating, and any negative experiences are NOT approved of at ABC Family Daycare. Children are encouraged to verbalize their feelings. I emphasize co-operation and working/ talking problems out.
Activities: Crafts, outside play, quiet time, baking, circle time, inside play, walks, field trips, story time, painting, etc.
Meals: ABC Family Daycare provides nutritious snacks and drinks. Lunch program is available to parents who prefer lunch to be provided. Otherwise please pack a nutritious lunch daily. |
