Precious Beginnings Children’s Centre (“Precious Beginnings”) enriches children with an abundant curriculum in an environment that enables them to fully develop their potential. Precious Beginnings is based on the educational philosophy and academic approach of Dr. Maria Montessori. Each child is recognized as an individual, with varying abilities, needs and interests. Our child-centered program satisfies and appeals to the needs of each child, rather than a static curriculum that every child must follow at the same pace. Our classrooms serve the needs of children between infant to kindergarten, allowing the flexibility to work with children at the academic level that's right for them.
Children are encouraged to discover their own innate abilities and to develop a strong sense of independence. Precious Beginnings promotes collaboration, not competition, and establishes a deep sense of respect in each child not only for themselves, but for the world around them.
Thanks to the forethought of its founder, the Montessori concept is unique in its ability to meet the needs of the developing child, to stimulate the cognitive, social, emotional, physical and creative stages of development.
