I run a Licensed Family Daycare in Pitt Meadows, and have been in business for three years as a Licensed facility, and for one year prior to becoming Licensed as a RLNR daycare. My daycare is well established, with all long-term families. As a Licensed daycare, our home has been inspected by Fraser Health, and I am subject to ongoing inspections by a Licensing Officer. I have also had an inspection by the fire department, have clean criminal record checks for all members of our household, and I have my education hours and valid Childcare First Aid. In the event of an emergency or illness, I also have a Licensed Subsititute on call. Included in your daycare fees are daily snacks, and hot lunch once a week, and additional hot lunch days are available upon request. Daycare subsidy is accepted. The daycare is open Monday-Friday, with flexible drop-off times available, and a firm closing time of 5pm. Our holiday schedule is made available in January to allow you to have a reliable schedule well in advance.
We believe daycare should be an extension of a child's home, where they are free to learn, grow, explore, and develop in a loving and stable environment. Daily activities are varied and will include arts and crafts, storytime, music, singing and dancing, circle time, dramatic / dress up playtime, and age appropriate free play time. Our daycare is fully stocked with a variety of both fun and educaitonal toys, books, games and activities designed to help focus on gross and fine motor skills. We believe learning should be fun, and integrated in as many parts of our day as possible. The daycare itself is bright and clean, we have a separate room for daily nap / rest times, and we have a large fenced backyard with toys and play equipment for the children to enjoy.
I am passionate about children, and love to watch them grow and develop, and see the world through their eyes. Being home with my children, and having the opportunity to provide childcare for other families has been a blessing, and I count it as a privilege to work with such special little people.
