Our Markham Home Day Care Gets going Early!
Welcome English, French and Arabic speakers!
Together a retired art teacher and grandmother and an active mother of a one year old son and 3 year old daughter, provide loving, relaxed child care in a Markham home.
The 3 year old will be attending full day French Immersion JK in September 2012. We enjoy offering your little ones stimulating, educational, age appropriate activities in our little home day care and share the philosophy that young children should be raised in a very relaxed, loving atmosphere with attention to healthy nutrition, lots of art & music, games, stories, exercise and fresh air at nearby Ashton Meadows Park (weather permitting).
We get going as early as 6 a.m. and are now accepting infants / toddlers and / pre-school children.
Your child would be expected to attend a free playgroup held in Ashton Meadows Public School and provided by the York Region Community & Health Services, a few days per week, weather permitting. This playgroup is organized especially for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers.
Ashton Meadows Public School is just a short stroll from our home day care. The children have fun with stories, puzzles, imaginative play, books, art & crafts, drumming, and singing well-known children’s songs.
Parents are always welcome to drop in and speak with professional staff at the playgroup about child development questions and concerns and get information and referrals to counseling, special needs, health and other services.
Free individual piano lessons are available for children 3 years old and up at parents' request.
Our Child Care Fees are very affordable:
$5 per hour for each child – Discounts are negotiable if there are two or more siblings.
We live close to the intersections of Woodbine Ave., 16th Ave., & Major McKenzie Drive and the environment is pet free & smoke free.

We are willing to give references and at the same time, would appreciate references from caregivers who looked after your children.
Parents with children 1 year and under would be expected to provide their food and diaper care needs.
Children would be expected to attend the weekly playgroup with their caregivers and are supervised at all times by their caregivers at these playgroups.
We cannot accept children with high fevers or any other indication of an illness.
Parents are allowed to bring food prepared at home for their children so we cannot guarantee a nut free environment. |
