Hi there,
We are a unique family-business providing excellent childcare.
Below we have tried to answer the questions parents often ask.
Who?
Family-business daycare.
Care providers are genuine, caring, nurturing, reliable, responsible and qualified.
Current First-Aid and criminal record checks.
What? Full-time and Part-time childcare spots available.
Where? In our home daycare located in Gordon Head.
Our home is fun, safe, active, nurturing and child-focused.
We are situated next door to one park and down the street from another large.
Most activities are in walking/stroller distance.
When? Monday to Friday 8-5pm
Why? We love kids!
Daily Activities?
Our play activities include chalk board, sand/rice table, books, limited computer time, music, building blocks, dolls, megablocks, ball play, colouring, stickers, glueing, painting, hiding spot, food and dishes, cars and trucks, train set and various rotating bins of toys so it is always new and exciting.
Outside Time? Yes, we love to get outside twice a day when the weather cooperates.
Our backyard is fully fenced and safe for children. It is full of play equipment and we have a shed for other toys.
Outside activities? Outside play is focused on stimulating gross motor development and discovering new parts of our environment. There are bikes, peddle cars, play house, slides, climbers and water play.
We also open the gate in our backyard and we are at the park. Sometimes we walk up to the big park up the street or venture to the beach.
Daily routine? Our day with the children starts at around 8 and we generally play indoors with various toys.
Morning snack is around 10 and after that we head outside weather permitting. Then, lunch is between 11:30-12. After lunch we have a quiet time and get ready for nap. The children generally sleep from 1- at least 3. Now it's time for afternoon snack and more outside time. At 5, everyone is on their way home!
Developmental stages? We provide activities to stimulate fine and gross motor skills. This includes spatial relationships, imitation and learning parts of the body. Also, speech and language activities are practiced. We work on visual and listening skill as well.
Food? We provide healthy meals and snacks.
Diapers? We ask parents to provide diapers.
Cost? Full time monthly rate is $850. Part-time rates are dependent on the number of days a week. Please contact me and I will provide you with a quote. We also offer discounts for siblings. |

Admission conditions |

|
One of our children has a severe reaction to second hand smoke; therefore, we are unable to admit children exposed to second hand cigarette smoke. This means that no smoking person could care for your child while attending our daycare. Also, no cigarette smoke may pick up or drop off your child.
