Choosing a day home is a big decision. I have had to go through this process several times with my own children. Here is some information about our dayhome to help you in your search;
Full day/Part-time/After-school
We are located very close to several schools and offer after-school and kindergarten care. Transportation can be arranged to ease your busy schedule.
Safe and Qualified
I have a current criminal record check and child welfare check. I have many years of experience providing care for children in my home (for both able bodies and disabled children). I have held a valid first aid certificate for over 15 years.
Experienced
I have worked in larger daycare centres and prefer the personalized setting of a dayhome. I have run a day home for several years.
Meals provided
I provide parents with a weekly menu plan of the meals that are provided. Getting the kids ready in the morning can be a big rush, I will take care of breakfast, a morning snack, lunch, and an afternoon snack.
What we do
Crafts, games, songs, and play. The children are engaged in many activities to make their day as fun and educational as possible.
Peace of mind
It can be very hard to leave your child during the day. To help ease your mind, I offer the option of daily Skype chats with your child and a daily journal of how your child's day went.
Other details
Our home has a fenced yard for outdoor play. There is a cat in the home, however, she is kept separate from the children during the day. I do offer extended hours on a pre-booked basis for an additional fee.
Always ensure that your child receives quality care by taking the time to investigate the provider and by asking for references! We simply cannot verify the claims of every daycare provider.
Updates
We expect providers to keep their listing and available openings up-to-date. However, to prevent oversights, openings expire after 45 days.
