CHILDSPEC is a government licensed, home child care service that specializes in providin access to quality, affordable childcare programs for children ages 3 months to 12 years.
Licensed childcare offers:
• Flexible hours with reasonable rates. Government subsidized and CWELCC supported child care spaces are always available. We also have a backup system in place for times when your Provider is unavailable.
• We strictly comply with, or exceed the standards and regulations set out in the Provincial Day Nurseries Act.
• Registered Early Childhood Educators visit each child care site regularly to ensure compliance with legislated programming, safety and nutrition requirements.
• Registered child care providers are screened by the agency before children are places in their homes. The requirements include a personal interview and site inspection, character references, police clearance and a certification in First Aid/CPR. Providers also participate in regular training seminars as part of our on-going commitment to skills development.
• Your child’s day will include a variety of experiences in a family group setting. Each home has a daily routine that includes reading/rhymes, crafts, music/drama, outdoor play and drama.
• Meals and snacks will be prepared according to Canada’s Food Guide.
• Our team appreciates and support the connection between the provider, the child/family and agency. We invite you to contact us to discuss your family’s needs.
Admission conditions
Infants and children up to 12 years of age are welcome. Registration is required and can be completed online through our website, or by contacting us at 905.793.6444.
