Hello, my name is Katherine. I am a licensed dayhome provider (agency approved and monitored by "It's a Child's World") located in Edmonton's Riverbend/Brookside area. I am right off Whitemud Drive and 53 ave... 8 mins from the west end, 10 mins from the University, and 15 minutes from downtown. I have my childcare first aid, all relevant security checks, references, lots of different toys and games for all ages, books and activities, very healthy meal plans, field trips and stimulating and fun program plans! I am excited to be starting my Level One Childcare course very soon. I have 2 daughters of my own, a 20 month old and an 8 year old in grade 2.
I am an energetic, creative person with a passion for working with children! I strongly believe in learning through play, early literacy, craft time, and outdoor activity and I incorporate this into our daily program.
I currently have 1 spot left for full time or before & afterschool care available immediately! I do a school run to Brander Gardens Elementary daily.
