I am a mother of 2 children aged 4 and 8 who is relocating from Ottawa to Cornwall and opening a new daycare for end of June 2013. I currently have spaces for 2 children full time and spaces available for just the summer. I have lots of experience with children and currently running a successful daycare in Ottawa. I have a 4 year Bachelor Degree in Psychology with a Concentration in Child Development.
I offer nutritional meals (breakfast and lunch) and nutritional snacks. We spend as much time as we can outdoors, learning and playing in the yard or at the park. Our daily routine involves taking walks and participating in circle time activities, crafts along with educational activities based from a high scope curriculum for all ages. EG. Sensory bins, motor skill activities ect... I take pride in teaching children and helping develop to their full potential and prepare them for when they enter school. I am fluent in French and in English and run the dare care in both languages with an emphasis in French.
My hours are from 7:00am to 5:00pm. (Some flexibility with the time) and am centrally located. My fees are 25$ a day per child and special prices for 2 children or more.
