WELCOME TO SANDRA'S LITTLE CUBS DAYCARE!
To all Parents/Guardians who require full time or part time care.
I take great pride in my home daycare and I provide healthy, organic and homemade cooked breakfasts, lunches and snacks as per the Canada Food Guide for the past 17 years. I will provide baby foods as well. All meals are prepared on site. Special diets is also available.
My home is smoke free, very clean, spacious and bright. Little Cubs Daycare includes areas for learning, playing, relaxing, napping, eating area and learning center. My daycare is home away from home. Here at Little Cubs Daycare we have educational and themed weeks with a well planned program to fit your child's learning needs. I provide educational toys, daily reading, music and movement program, arts and crafts and daily activities and outdoor play in a big fenced backyard fully equipped with toys and mini slide. Our day at Little Cubs is a structured day, full of fun and learning.
Your child(ren) will learn their alphabets, to count, know animals, shapes and their colours through reading, playing, puzzles, matching games, circle time, flash cards, learning their gross motor skills which include finger painting, play dough and ball rolling and of course our many crafts all of which will prepare your child for JK. We will also discover nature and learn math and science.
At the end of each month your child will bring home his or her Learning Folder and they will be very proud to show you all the work they have accomplished in the month.
I will also assist parents/guardians with potty training. I have a washroom on the same level for children to use.
As a mother myself, a lot of love, patience and understanding is given to your child. Watching a child excel is a wonderful accomplishment that makes my job very rewarding.
Piece of mind while you are at work is a priority for me, this is why I will send you photos of your child during the course of the day, if you wish directly to your email or phone.
Daily report on your child's day which will include meals, diaper changes and amount of sleep.
Monthly calendars. Parents/Guardians always know what is upcoming through the calendar that is sent home.
Information package given at interview for Parents/Guardians to review.
I am a permanent resident in Summerhill with excellent references given at interview.

At Little Cubs we also celebrate everyone's birthdays, we enjoy our end of the Summer BBQ. We celebrate Christmas, Easter, Valentines, St. Patrick's Day and Halloween. We have a party for each occasion and the children really look forward to all of them.
I have weekend care, part time and odd days available. Spots are available but limited.
