Returning from Maternity leave in May I'm a mother of two (soon to be 9 year old and soon to be 1 year old boys), I grew up with my mother running a very successful home day care, and I've always enjoyed working with children. I worked as a licensed hairstylist for over 7year then a few years ago I decided to leave the salon environment to open my a home day care so I could be home for my sons and provide the same care to other children that I would want in a day care for my own children. I pride myself in providing a fun, safe, healthy and educational environment that both children and parents can feel confident about. Before and after school care is available at 25$/day. As a licensed hair stylist I offer free hair cuts for children in my care. Children will enjoy plenty of out door activity provding the fresh air and physical exercise a child requires and enjoys. Both French and English are used on a regular basis in my home allowing children to have the opportunity to become familiar with both languages. We do lots of free play, after lunch story time, and seasonal/ holiday arts and crafts that encourage academic learning and motor skills. Healthy meals and snacks are a guarantee. Lunch meals such as mac n' cheese, lasagna, shepards pie, ect. are all home made, as I try to avoid all procesed foods. Full servings of fruits and vegetables every day. My home is located close to schools, stores, a public library, and many parks allowing us to venture out giving the children access to different social environments. I believe in providing a safe fun environment in which children can grow and reach their full potential.
