Welcome to My Little Town dayhome in Auburn Bay
and thank you for considering me, Isabel, for the caring of your precious ones.
I have been running my dayhome in Auburn Bay since 2013 but have worked professionally with kids since 2000 including at the Calgary YMCA and University of Calgary day care centers. I hold the following degree/certifications:
- Bachelor of Education (with honors) with a major in Early Education and a minor in Child Psychology.
- Child Development Supervisor (former Level 3) certification with the province of Alberta
- First Aid/CPR Certification
- RCMP Criminal Record check including vulnerable sectors search
I am a dedicated mother of 2 beautiful girls and a caring and loving person who understands how special kids are. I have experienced first-hand the challenges of looking after our little loved ones but I also know how rewarding and satisfying is to share the time with them. In my dayhome, I guide the kids through a process of learning-based play that allows them to actively explore their surroundings while developing their cognitive, emotional, social, language and fine/gross motor skills. The main goals of my day home is to have fun, to develop the kids skills, and to encourage creative expression.
