My name is Colleen. Iam an ECE and a mother of two children. I am first aid and CPR certified. Ihave 8years experience in a Christan day care and 14 years working from home. My home is extremely clean. I wash toys, floors and the washroom daily. I have a large mainfloor playroom with a large variety of age appropriate toys. I like to cater to each child's interests and incorporate it into activities and themes. Each child has their own cubby and coat hook. I have a large fenced in yard with alot of fun toys to choose from. I don't drive with the children but we do go for walks around the area. Each week we learn about a new theme. I like to teach through daily circles of stories and songs. We do a daily art activity and explore through sensory and science discoveries. Of course there is lots of playtime. I provide a morning snack, a nutritious lunch and an afternoon snack. We eat a variety of fruits and vegetables. I don't serve meals such as hotdogs or kraft dinner. As a mother I know how important it is to find a child care provider who will work with you as a team. I treat all the children in my home as my own. I look forward to hearing from you.
