If you are looking for childcare in St. Albert, I am here for you!
My name is Natasha and I am offering childcare through my private day home located in Grandin (right between Albert Lacome Elementary and Sir. George Simpson Junior High Schools). My husband, Matthew, and I have a one year old son named Oliver. We are a non-smoking household and we do not allow any guests to smoke in our home. We have two lovely cats who are vaccinated and very gentle (they mainly keep to themselves, but may pop by occasionally to check things out!). We live within walking distance of many parks and amenities.
Our attitude toward childcare consists of encouragement, positive reinforcement and maintaining a two way street of respect. It is my firm belief that children are the most important people in the world and as a prominent figure in their lives you can expect me to encourage personal growth and development, role model good behaviour and make each child's personal interests a top priority. I do not practice negative reinforcement or discipline. I use the practice of redirection and talking it out and providing emotional and mental support in times of conflict (ie when two children wish to play with the same toys).
I believe nutrition is very necessary to maintaining a positive environment. I am well versed in the daily recommended nutritional intakes for people of all ages and I love to cook. I will provide a varied daily diet of meals and snacks, as necessary, as well as milk. I cook almost all of my family's meals from scratch and will carry this practice over to childcare.
Rates are negotiable and dependant on meals, snacks and how often child care is required.
I am currently just opening up my doors and accepting children of all ages! Both myself and my husband can provide criminal record checks, child welfare checks and personal references. Please contact me via email or phone for any other information and to set up appointments.
If you visited or if you're using a childcare provider found on DaycareBear, do not hesitate to leave a review. This will most certainly help other parents!
