My name is Nadine and I am an Early Childcare Assistant and a mother of two. Opening a home daycare is something I have been wanting to do for a few years now, and it is finally starting!
When I became a mother I especially enjoyed teaching my children new things and observing them as they learned. This inspired me to discover more about child development. So I took the ECA course at Everest College where I learned many things both in class and in my placements.
Through art and play I want to inspire your children’s creativity and encourage their individuality. I will consistently role model kind, and patient behaviour and let them help with food preparation and light cleaning (i.e. cleaning up their mess after play and meal time). Each day your children will be provided with healthy home cooked meals and snacks in a safe and caring environment.
To ensure your children receive the individual attention they need I will take 3 children 18 month’s and up on a full time basis and 1 child before and after school.
I am located at Fisher and Baseline (near the Experimental Farm) in a quiet residential neighbourhood. I have a large backyard and a well lighted play room where your children can come to learn and play comfortably.
Care is available from 7-6:00pm, however I can be flexible! As a parent I understand it is difficult to find exactly what you need. If you require care at different hours please feel free to contact me.
(Please note-French is not my first language but I do know enough to introduce your child to it.)
Admission conditions
Must love cats :). I have two adult cats and two kittens. We are currently looking for homes for our kittens.
