Kidding Around Daycare has opened its doors for the first time. Located in Arnprior just off Hwy 17, Kidding Around Daycare is a convenient location for pick-ups and drop-offs both morning and night.
Kidding Around Daycare is committed to providing a happy, healthy and wholesome environment in which children are encouraged to be creative, play and learn alongside one another.
My name is Jennifer Armstrong and I am very excited to begin this new venture. I am a stay-at-home Mum to my 1 year old daughter Tess. I have a strong background in education with the Ottawa Carleton Catholic School Board and spent one year teaching English in Korea. I have a BA in Sociology and have completed three years in the Canadian Studies Program at Carleton University. I have always loved working with children both educationally and recreationally, and now that I have one of my own, starting Kidding Around Daycare makes the most sense for my family and compliments my background well.
I am looking for children ages 1-4 and have 1 full time spot available. I also have 1 spot available for before and after school children. My rates are competitive, receipts are provided, lunches and snacks are home-made and nutritious, and my First Aid/CPR is up to date.
My home is smoke-free, located close to a beautiful park; the playroom has just been renovated and there is plenty of room for children to nap comfortably. Finally, trips to local playgroups and the library are a part of the weekly routine and we will be taking daily trips to the park.

My home comes along with two dogs; Yukon and Lilly. They are great with my 1 year old as well as the other children attending the daycare, and very friendly. If you don't already have a dog at home this is a great opportunity for your children to learn and play with animals and get that "pet wanting" out of their system!
