I am a fully-licensed teacher in Saskatchewan with 8 years of experience. I've taught students from kindergarten to high school. I am a mother of two children and currently a stay-at-home mom.
I offer an after-school program in my home for children between ages 2.5 to 5 years of age. The program includes circle time, singing songs, reading aloud and shared reading, listening centers, music and motion using rhythm instruments, and centers to allow children to learn through play. Also I prepare after-school snacks including healthy foods such as cheese, vegetables, fruits, crackers, etc. There are trips as well, including regularly scheduled library trips, the museum, and the Regina Floral Conservatory. The program begins the day after Labour Day, Tuesday, September 4, 2012. A dog MAY be in my family by September, but it will not be a problem to have it in a crate if needs be. |
