***Also now offering before and after school care for Windsong Heights School in September ***
I am a law graduate from a very professional background of the British Police Service where I served for 5 years as a police constable. During my time there I also seconded to the Youth Offending Service and specialized in Child Protection. My husband is a current serving police officer for Calgary City Police. I am now a stay at home mam who cherishes every moment with our 5 year old.
I am looking for another child to share this time with us and join our dayhome which has been operating for almost 5 years now.
I understand and can relate to the stress when considering returning to work and finding a suitable, trustworthy and honest carer for your child. I want to reassure you that I can provide these things and more!
Additionally I have the following training: • Certificate – Restorative Practices (International Institute for Restorative Practices and Advanced Training) • Certificate – Child Protection Level 1-2 • Certificate – Child Protection Multi-Agency • Certificate – CAF Training (Common Assessment Framework) • Certificate – Restorative Justice Conferencing and Mediation • Certificate – Challenging Behaviour • Certificate – Anger Management • Certificate – Drug and Alcohol Misuse • Certificate – Safety and Welfare (Vulnerable People) • Certificate – MAPPA (Multi-Agency People Protection Arrangements) • Certificate – First Aid • Certificate – Health and Safety at Work
My main goals are to create a loving, safe environment with early learning and development as well as promoting a healthy diet and balanced lifestyle.
These are things that I feel are important and I would look for in someone providing care for my own child.
