I am a Licensed Childcare Provider, which means that I fully comply with the Community Care and Assisted Living Act as well as the Child Care Licensing Regulations. My facility is set up with toys, puzzles, games, etc. that could satisfy curiosity of any child regardless of its age.
My program maintains a child-centered philosophy. Our daily routine includes circle time, arts and crafts, and music activities. As a certified 'Kelly Kirby' music teacher, I provide an environment rich with music and movement. I teach a variety of classic and modern songs, as well as rhymes.
My facility has:
·Safe sleep and play environments
·Clean toys in good condition with no sharp edges
·Easily accessible first-aid kit and posted emergency numbers
·Electrical outlets covered with protective caps
·Window guards on all windows except designated fire exits
·Smoke alarms and fire extinguishers
·An emergency evacuation plan
Family Child Care 'Hummingbird' is licensed for 5 children. We are located in South Vancouver.
Breakfast and afternoon snack are included in the price.
