Are you looking for a quality daycare or preschool program for your son or daughter? I will have 1 infant (1+ years) available commencing September (after Labour Day)
I am university educated with a degree in English Literature, post graduate diploma in Human Resource Management and a strong background in child development and child studies. I have recent CPR/First Aid. AED training and references from current and past families are available upon request.
I have been operating my preschool for 15 years and offer a fully structured learning program for your child. The children who attend my program are well-equipped, if not further ahead, of their peers upon entering kindergarten.
A few features of my program are as follows:
Monthly Calendar of Events with weekly themes, corresponding learning worksheets, crafts, music and fun activities.
Daily Circle Time with a strong emphasis on numeracy, colours, shapes, days of the week, learning about the weather, songs, rhymes and games.
Daily Storytime that corresponds to our weekly theme
Daily Reports that allow you to track the development of your child's learning and feel connected to their day.
Daily Outdoor Play in our fully fenced backyard equipped with climber, bikes, ride on toys, sandbox, balls, jumpers, etc. We are within walking disance to Lions Park and Fred C Cook Public School and often enjoy picnics and fun at the splash pad in the warmer weather. Please note, I do not use my vehicle to transport children; we do however enjoy neighbourhood walks and outings to the playground when the weather permits.
Our home is non-smoking (we do have a 4 year old border collie named Willow who has been socialized with daycare children since birth) and your child is not sent to play in a basement playroom. They have full access to our home and are made to feel like our home is "their home away from home". They truly become members of the family!

Please note: My hours are 7am-5:30. I may, upon request be able to accommodate later (6pm) pickups on occasion. My children have very active extra curricular lives that require my involvement. Please do not hesitate to ask though. Perhaps, together we can come up with a solution that works for everyone. |
