I have always known growing up that I wanted to teach children, but I didn’t know the capacity until I discovered Early Childhood Education. I worked in childcare centres for a few years before I went into becoming a childcare facility inspector. This I continued until I was expecting my first child, once my son was born I decided that I wanted to get back into the hands on part of childcare, but I also wanted to stay at home with my son. I then discovered how rewarding it could be in the world of home based family childcare. The perfect combination. I opened my family home.
